The City of Santa Cruz is excited to announce the launch of its new and improved website at santacruzca.gov

The redesigned site makes it easier for community members to find information, access services, and stay connected with City news and events. The new website features improved navigation, a modern design, and mobile-friendly functionality.

“City services should be easy to find and understand,” said City Manager Matt Huffaker. “Our website is often the first door people open to City Hall, and this redesign makes that first experience more welcoming, intuitive, and transparent.”

As part of the City’s commitment to continuous improvement, community feedback will continue to shape future updates. Residents are encouraged to explore the site and share their input through the new Website Feedback Form, helping the City make ongoing refinements based on real user experience.

“This project was truly a Citywide effort,” said Communications Manager Erika Smart. “Every department played a role in shaping the content and organization of the site, and community members played an important part too! Our work doesn’t stop at launch; this site will continue to evolve based on community input, so it truly reflects how people engage with their City.”

The City thanks staff across all departments who contributed to this project and invites everyone to visit the new website to explore its improved features. The redesigned site marks the first step in a broader transformation of how the City delivers digital services, with additional technology upgrades planned over the next two years to further enhance accessibility, transparency, and community connection.
