Re-Envision Santa Cruz is the City of Santa Cruz City Council's interim recovery plan that will guide the City's emergence from economic and social impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The City is facing a long-term fiscal gap, so next 12-to-18 months are critical for its financial recovery.

City Council's created a focused Two-Year Work Plan, which narrows the City's collective efforts to the following three areas of greatest concern and impact to the City. The three areas were developed through input from the community, City Council and City staff.

The City Council established seven major strategic goals to guide the City's efforts in 2015, addressing the community's most pressing issues. The Strategic Goals helped inform the current Two-Year Work Plan.
