Pilates Sculpt Classes

Pilates Sculpt is a hybrid workout class - combining strength training, ballet-inspired moves along with elements of Pilates and stretching. This class is sponsored by the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation and Human Resource Departments. Employees and Community Members are all welcome. Our facilities are the Civic and LNCC depending on the day. Class is free but donations are welcomed.

Applications Open for Master Recycler Volunteer Training Program

The City is now accepting applications for its 2026 Master Recycler Volunteer Training Program. Over the course of eight weeks in February and March, participants will attend eight training sessions to become “Master Recycler Volunteers” in areas related to waste reduction and recycling. The interactive classes are taught by the City staff and local discard management professionals.

City of Santa Cruz Releases 2026 Winter–Spring Activity Guide

The City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department has released its 2026 Winter–Spring Activity Guide, now available online, featuring a wide range of programs, classes, and events for all ages. Residents are encouraged to explore the guide and plan ahead, with registration opening January 12 at 8:00 a.m.
