Join the City of Santa Cruz on the Wharf as we celebrate the long-awaited completion of construction at the Wharf South End! After more than two years of challenges, closures, and hard work, we are thrilled to once again welcome the public back to this beloved space—now restored and ready to enjoy, with its stunning panoramic views of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

This special community event will begin with a brief speaking program featuring City staff and elected officials, followed by a lively afternoon of fun, family-friendly activities. Help us honor the dedicated Wharf crew whose efforts made this milestone possible, and connect with Sanctuary docents to learn more about the unique coastal environment that makes this location so special.

Enjoy entertainment from the ever-popular Bubble Lady, participate in a free group exsercise session hosted by GOAT Gym, and explore engaging activities for all ages. Wharf businesses will be offering sales and specials throughout the day, making it a perfect opportunity to shop, dine, and celebrate.

Whether you're returning to a favorite spot or visiting for the first time, we invite you to join us in celebrating this exciting new chapter for the Wharf.
