Pilates Sculpt Classes

May 13, 2026

Pilates Sculpt is a hybrid workout class - combining strength training, ballet-inspired moves along with elements of Pilates and stretching. This class is sponsored by the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation and Human Resource Departments. Employees and Community Members are all welcome. Our facilities are the Civic and LNCC depending on the day. Class is free but donations are welcomed.

The City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Choose Santa Cruz and Wharf tenants, brings back Tuesday Night Live for Summer 2026. Free concerts run May 26–Sept 8 on select Tuesdays, 6–8 PM at Wharf Commons Stage. Enjoy live music, ocean views, and local dining. The series features diverse bands and supports Wharf businesses with vibrant summer community gatherings.

City Parks & Rec Invites Community to Plant 60 Trees for Arbor Day

City of Santa Cruz Parks & Rec invites community to celebrate Arbor Day on May 7, 11am–2pm at University Terrace Park. Volunteers will help plant ~60 trees (maple, pistache, crape myrtle) to expand urban canopy. Family-friendly event includes educational booths, kids’ activities, and drop-in viewing.
