Pilates Sculpt Classes (January - July 2026)

Pilates Sculpt is a hybrid workout class - combining strength training, ballet-inspired moves along with elements of Pilates and stretching. This class is sponsored by the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation and Human Resource Departments. Employees and Community Members are all welcome. Our facilities are the Civic and LNCC depending on the day. Class is free but donations are welcomed.

In observance of Independence Day, most City of Santa Cruz administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. Essential services, including police, fire, and emergency response, will continue to operate as normal.

SCMU Expands the Utility Customer Assistance Program (UCAP)

Santa Cruz Municipal Utilities (SCMU) has expanded its Utility Customer Assistance Program (UCAP) to households who live in multi-unit complexes. This expansion provides financial assistance to income-qualifying households within SCMU’s service area whether or not they pay SCMU directly for utility services.
