City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Reminder “Super Saturday” Summer Registration – Plan Ahead for April 11

SANTA CRUZ, CA — The City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Department reminds residents that Saturday, April 11, 2026, is “Super Saturday” for summer activity registration. It is the kickoff day to sign up for programs, camps, and classes. Families are encouraged to plan ahead, as popular programs often fill quickly.

Online registration opens at 8:00 a.m. for City residents and 10:00 a.m. for non-residents, providing access to hundreds of recreational, educational, and enrichment opportunities for all ages and abilities.

“Opening day of summer registration is when many Santa Cruz families map out their summer,” said Annalise Bryant, Recreation Supervisor. “From camps and youth programs to fitness and enrichment classes, it’s a key moment to plan a season of fun, connection, and growth.”

Community members are encouraged to review the Summer Activity Guide, available in English and Spanish, to explore program options and plan ahead. Residents should also create or update registration accounts and confirm their City residency status ahead of Saturday to ensure a smooth registration experience and access to resident priority.
