Commission for the Prevention of Violence Against Women Aug Meeting

05 Aug 2026 The Commission of Prevention of Violence Against Women was established on September 8, 1981, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 81-29 by the City Council of Santa Cruz. Its creation was a response to the high rates of domestic violence and sexual assault in the city and the need for a community-led effort to address these issues.
