Bermuda Grass Eviction at Trescony Garden

Next date: Tuesday, November 10, 2026 | 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM

Gardeners struggle to keep up with the Bermuda Grass weed that chokes out all other plants.

The purpose of this project is to rid the garden of Bermuda Grass by hand as to not use any round up to alleviate the constant struggle for especially gardeners of an older age or limited mobility. By evicting the Bermuda Grass, we will make space to plant native ground covers across the common spaces in the garden.

Beyond common spaces, some volunteers will be sent to individual plots to help our gardeners of an older age or limited mobility.
If you like getting your hands dirty and pulling weeds and if you like helping out our community gardeners who have limited capacity to keep up with this invasive and tricky weed, please sign up.
