Private Events & Reservations

Important: Private Reservations must be made at least five (5) days before the event date to be considered. Please note: Beach Volleyball Court requests must be made at least 30 days in advance.

Santa Cruz is known for its incredible weather and beautiful beach setting - it's the perfect location for your event. The Reservations Office is happy to assist you in planning and scheduling your event in the City of Santa Cruz. Review the City Special Event Calendar to see what other activities or events are currently happening within the City.

How to Reserve

Reservations should be made at least 5 days in advance in one of the following ways:

• Reserve Online
• By Phone: 831-420-5270 (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm; closed Noon-1:00pm).
• In Person: Administrative Office, 323 Church St (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm; closed Noon-1:00pm).

Location Fees & Information

• Facility Information & Fee Schedule(PDF, 4MB).
• Updated Rental Beach Map for Main & Cowell Beach(PDF, 2MB)
• All fees and deposits are payable at the time of reservation request.
• In addition to the rental fee, a deposit is required for any reservation that includes an alcohol permit.
• Cancellation of reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance to receive a 50% refund of fees. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior are non-refundable.
