The City of Santa Cruz is transitioning to a new permitting and licensing system for customers portal soon with Access Santa Cruz. Starting in October, customers will be able to pay apply for permits, licenses, and make service requests all in one place.

What can you do on the new portal? 

We are introducing a new online Access Santa Cruz Portal for enhanced self-service options with the City of Santa Cruz. Whether you need to pull a building permit, check the status of a zoning request, pay a local business license, or report a neighborhood concern, the new Access Santa Cruz Portal brings all services directly to you.

  • Request inspection
  • Request services

What to Expect

A new Access Santa Cruz Portal will be launched later this year. The City will contact customers with more information as this upgrade is nearing completion. After portal launch, customers will have a centralized Access Santa Cruz Portal to apply for permits, check statuses, and make service requests!
