The City of Santa Cruz is proud to announce that its Purchasing Division has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® (AEP) by the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI). This marks the third consecutive year the City has earned this distinguished honor.
The AEP Award is presented to public and non-profit agencies that demonstrate a steadfast commitment to excellence in procurement. Recipients are recognized for embracing best practices in Innovation, Professionalism, Productivity, Leadership, and e-Procurement.
“Receiving this recognition for the third year in a row reflects the Purchasing Division’s continued commitment to excellence, accountability, and public service,” said Finance Purchasing Manager, Elizabeth Millwee. “Our team works hard to ensure City procurement processes are transparent, efficient, and aligned with best practices, and I’m proud to see that dedication recognized at the national level.”
