The City of Santa Cruz offers men's, women's, and co-recreational softball leagues in spring, summer, and fall. Games are played at DeLaveaga Park Fields 1 & 2, and Harvey West Park Fields 5 & 6. For more information email Recreation Coordinator, Nick Tanza here.

Team registration for the 2026 fall season will open on Saturday, July 25! Early bird registration will be open through August 2 ($300 team fee for Men’s and Women’s and $250 team fee for Co-Rec). From August 3 through August 16 team fees will be $325 for Men’s and Women’s, and $275 for Co-Rec. Please see below for more information about our fall season.

Fall Season Information

Location: DeLaveaga Park or Harvey West Park

Game Times: 6:30 pm, 7:45 pm, and 9 pm

Dates: Week of September 14 through week of October 19 (five week season, with one week of playoffs)

Game Nights: Proposed schedule. This schedule can change based on number of teams registered. This schedule is to be used as a guide for registration and is not the set fall schedule. Team registration is first come, first served. Managers should request night of play, but final decision on night of play will be made by League Director.

Wednesday: Men's D1/D2, Women's Open

Thursday: Men's D3/D4, Co-Rec C

Friday: Men's D5/D6, Co-Rec D

Managers can register Men's teams here, Women's teams here, and Co-Rec teams here.

Call our softball hotline at (831) 420-5265 #1 to find out if games are canceled because of unplayable field conditions. The recording will be updated by 3:15 pm on game day, if field conditions are in question.
