Application for a 90 Day Waiver for Compliance with
Environmentally Acceptable Packaging and Products Ordinance.

The most updated amendments to the Environmentally Acceptable Packaging Products Ordinance went into effect March 8th 2021.  A business may apply for a 90 Day Waiver from compliance for the amendments to the Service Ware portion including; cups, plates, bowls, food boxes, lids, utensils, straws.  Alternative solutions will be considered with the applicant before a waiver is granted.

Please note: Submitting an application does not grant immediate approval for a waiver. The Public Works Director or designee will review request and respond within 14 business days to provide approval or denial of the request. Consideration is based on issues unique to your business. A request for a waiver based on Supply Chain delays requires verification from approved Vendor.
